Stonehaven is a gated condominium community that is an ideal resource for suburban Sarasota Florida real estate for sale. This neighborhood is located just off Clark Road, a major Sarasota thoroughfare which also links a short distance eastward to Interstate 75 that allows movement to most of the southwest Florida territory. It is likewise less than five miles from the Tamiami Trail which enables convenient access to attractions in and around the Sarasota area.

This property was developed starting from the late 2000s by Centex, a member of the Pulte Group with more than fifty years of experience in developing communities in sixty US markets across twenty eight states. The condos were designed as townhouse type structures with smaller units having a single story while the larger ones are in two-story buildings. There are five models developed for Stonehaven with their floor areas ranging from 1,036 to 1,993 square feet, featuring two to three bedrooms.

Price-wise, the residences in this community are typically classified with mid-priced Sarasota condos for sale which are attractive particularly to first-time homebuyers. A two-bedroom unit built in 2007 with a living space of 1,036 square feet can have a quoted price of $168,000. The starting price can move up to the low to mid-$200s for units built in 2011 with three bedrooms and two baths and a half within its floor plan of 1,417 square feet.

Centex’s professionalism is at once evident in the community’s exquisite landscaping. Most of the homes, for instance, are laid out fronting a long lake adorned with fountains. The community’s Clark Road frontage is luxuriant with verdant plantings and tropical trees. For the common facilities, the developer built a swimming pool with a cabana and spacious play area for kids.

The condominium’s Clark Road location brings tremendous advantage to the residents. Just across this street from the condominium, for instance, are the Palmer Market and the restaurants, Chick Fil-A and Applebee’s. Twin Lakes Park and its various sports and recreational facilities are also within easy reach with a short drive eastward past the Interstate.

Similarly, driving a few miles westward from Clark Road toward the Tamiami Trail opens a lot of other lifestyle possibilities. Taking a southerly trip via the trail shortly leads to the Westfield Sarasota Square Mall that is home to some 140 trendy retail shops, restaurants, and the AMC 12 movie theaters. The Potter Park YMCA is also in this locality, offering fitness and wellness programs for all ages. Moreover, Clark Road’s western corridor links with Stickney Point Road that eventually leads to the famous white sands of Siesta Key which are very much part of the delights of owning a condo unit at Stonehaven.
