Eagle Point’s ownership has changed many times after the resort was sold to a Baltimore family in the 1920s. It continued operating as a resort until the late 1980s when residential real estate developers took over the property. These developers renamed the resort as the Eagle Point Club, and in 1991, it was entered in the National Register of Historic Places as the Eagle Point Club Historic District.

History remains woven into this community’s character. The original Camp Eagle Point resort building built in 1916 was preserved and repurposed as the clubhouse for the community’s marina. The Eagle Point Club also features a lighted tennis court, marina, and a fishing pier. The community basks amidst lush and well-maintained landscaping with live oaks, palm trees and pines.
