While at the club house complex members can play tennis on Har-Tru courts, swim in a resort style heated swimming pool, or take a peek at the latest in golf gear at the pro shop manned by friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Calusa Lakes has an 18 hole championship golf course that was thoughtfully designed by Ted McAnlis. Keeping the natural balance and harmony between man and nature was foremost in mind. This beautiful course was created among the natural pines and live oak forest and drifts peacefully among the many placid lakes. As a matter of fact, there are 15 water hazards to increase the beauty and challenge of playing here.

The course was specifically designed with four varying sets of tees to meet the skill sets of different golfers. The courses’ yardage varies from 6,715 to 5,197 while the course ratings are between 67.6 and 72.5. You will find the slope ratings to be between 114 and 125.

Membership at Calusa Lakes Golf Club comes with a special added benefit. Along with the club’s own 18 hole golf course, members can also enjoy playing the Waterford and Capri Isles courses in nearby Venice so you get to play 3 courses for 1 membership price. Lessons are available for members at Calusa Lakes with 2 in house pros on staff.

Membership rates are an economical $2100 for a single and $3360 for a couple. There are also restricted membership packages for junior and junior couple but the premier membership is the Champion Membership. Single membership at this level is offered at $3,800 while the couple’s package is $5,860 and includes unlimited golf cart use.
