Copperstone is a large community in Parrish wherein Ryland Homes gained Manatee County approval to build 414 single-family houses and 118 townhouses. Copperstone homes for sale were notably amongst the Ryland’s last builds before its merger with Standard Pacific in late 2016 to form CalAtlantic which was eventually absorbed by the Lennar Group in 2017.

Located between Erie Road and Moccasin Wallow Road about five miles east of Interstate 75, Copperstone is a highly desirable community as evident in over 30 sales closed here in 2017. This community draws much of its market appeal from Ryland’s development focus on providing Copperstone residents with high quality living.

A Masterpiece Development

Quiet and private within a gated perimeter, Copperstone was platted with spacious home sites in an acreage developed with lush landscaping and scenic lakes. Choice residences in this community are clustered around these endearing lakes while others back up to nature preserves. For convenient mobility, Copperstone has two entrances—one on Erie Road south and another north at Moccasin Wallow.

Parrish Growth Catching Up

Buying interest in Copperstone residences and those in other communities in Parrish could be expected to pick up further. Development is revving up in this area particularly on the stretch from U.S. 301 to Route 62 just east of Copperstone which is being targeted as a downtown-style main street that already has a sound growth platform—the popular Florida Railroad Museum.

The new North River High School is also rising on Erie Road corner Martha Road just southeast of Copperstone. This school would be in addition to other public schools serving Parrish, which include Mills Elementary, Buffalo Creek Middle and Palmetto High. As further stimulus on Parrish homes for sale, the State College of Florida is also planning a new campus on Erie Road and has already purchased a parcel along this stretch for this purpose.

The road corridors of Erie and Moccasin Wallow provide convenient access to many of the local points of interest including two golf courses as well as shopping and dining destinations. The Fort Hamer Bridge which opened in 2017 a short distance south of Copperstone is now another plus for living in Parrish. This new span across the Manatee River offers an alternative route to Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch and Sarasota.
