Lincoln Park, Sarasota, Florida, 34236
Lincoln Park is a small but impressive community that offers upscale Sarasota’s “West of the Trail” real estate options. It is located on the southern outskirts of downtown just off South Osprey Avenue. This neighborhood is hard to miss with its location just after the avenue’s span over Hudson Bayou that empties into the picturesque Sarasota Bay. Some of the residences in the community have direct water access courtesy of the serene bayou.
The community principally consists of properties around the Lincoln Park Circle, a cul-de-sac of Lincoln Drive. This road is linked eastward to the popular Tamiami Trail or US 41 that cuts north–south of southwest Florida. There are only eight single family homes in this neighborhood which has boat dock facilities at the Hudson Bayou.
The residences in the community were built during the 2000s having floor areas ranging from about 2,800 to 3,600 square feet with three to four bedrooms. A home which has four bedrooms and three baths and a half in its floor space of 3,378 square feet can be found in a listing of Sarasota homes for sale with a tag price near the $1,000,000 level.

The Achievement Center, a support learning institution, is also close to the neighborhood. As favorable, the refreshing ambience afforded by the nearby Lukewood Park finds a strong echo at the 10-acre Selby Gardens, home to exotic plant species, a short distance northwest of the neighborhood.
Shopping at the Crossroads Center southeast of the community near the junction of Mound Street and Tamiami can easily graduate to kaleidoscopic choices at the downtown’s Main Street Merchants. For dining venues, neighboring restaurants, such as Word of Mouth, have exciting alternatives like the Owens Fish Camp a few minutes north of Lincoln Park.
