This hotel will be developed under a 27-month timetable which calls for the construction of 204,150 square foot accommodations within a six-story building. Its blueprint also includes 17,870 square feet of space for public functions, plus a 150-seat café and 240-seat restaurant, which upon completion should all help push market interest in nearby Palmetto homes for sale.
In addition, the hotel will feature a fitness center with a pool and an 18,000-square-foot entertainment complex. Besides concierge service, the hotel will likewise feature shuttle and water taxi services to local attractions.
The economic impact that this hotel will bring to Palmetto is indeed something to look forward to. A recent case in point is the city’s positive experience with the company It Works! which moved its corporate headquarters here from Michigan in 2014.
This company, which markets wellness, beauty, and lifestyle products via independent distributors in 21 countries, has created 127 new jobs locally. It has also reportedly invested some $10 million for the purchase and renovation of its new headquarters located near the Manatee River at 908 Riverside Drive.
What’s even more, the manpower complement of its offices in a four-story building has not only grown to 173 employees. The regular corporate events of It Works!, such as training, entertainment, and team-building, have also brought strong ripple effects on the local economy.
In July, this company hosted 15,000 of its business partners from all over the U.S. and overseas for its green carpet event held at the Bradenton Area Convention Center. The influx of these visitors generated a significant increase in business activity for local hotels and retail establishments. It likewise helped market local attractions to include not only life and leisure spots but also the region’s enticing array of residential communities.
Already, the robust sign of good things to come in Palmetto appears reverberating in the city’s housing market.
