Millennials Warming Up to Lakewood Ranch

SARASOTA, FLORIDA, February 16th 2017 – Purposive efforts are being taken at Lakewood Ranch (LWR) to attract more millennial home buyers, a demographic that showed rising market activity in the master development during 2016.

A significant number of these young residents, according to Laura Cole, VP for marketing at Lakewood Ranch/LWR Communities, moved to the master development to follow their parents who have purchased homes here.

Cole sees a multigenerational Lakewood Ranch beginning to shape up. She notes that millennials are either now working, pursuing job opportunities or are interested in relocating in the master development. The vibrant activities at LWR’s Main Street are also contributing to the younger generation’s growing interest in setting up roots in Lakewood Ranch communities.
