Willow Walk is a well-located residential development with affordably priced residences in Palmetto, Manatee County, a fast-rising submarket of Sarasota and Bradenton homes for sale. Its acreage spreads within the northwest quadrant of Interstate 75 and Mendoza Road (37th Street East) only some 10 minutes’ drive north from Bradenton.

Tampa’s Kolter Land Partners of Tampa started sometime in 2015 developing this property which consists of 272 acres. The development and construction of Parrish homes for sale in Willow Walk, a former agricultural farm operating since the early 1930s, has been set in two phases.

The first phase occupies 125 acres at the southern edge of the property fronting Mendoza Road and is programmed for 287 residences. The second phase, called Willow Walk North, is set for 434 homes on 147 acres east of 36th Avenue East across the Sugar Mill Lakes community.

Prospective buyers of Willow Walk homes for sale have a plentiful selection of floor plans to browse through, as there are three builders in this community: the Express Homes unit of D.R. Horton, Maronda, and Inland Homes. Many of Willow Walk’s home sites are platted on conservation and waterfront lots which are 40 to 50 feet wide. There are several amenities in this community as well, including playgrounds, a pavilion and a large swimming pool. Since its market launch, Willow Walk already sold about 50 homes.

Market interest on this community has been so upbeat that the Freedom Homes of D.R. Horton specializing in active-adult communities started marketing in 2018 its designs for Willow Walk North. It is promoting this neighborhood as a gated, maintenance-included community with affordably priced homes in the $200s as well.
