M/I Homes Launches Home Models for Rivo Lakes


 

SARASOTA, FLORIDA, October 17, 2018 – National builder M/I Homes has unveiled four move-in ready home builds in its new community Rivo Lakes, one of the latest destinations in searches of newly built Sarasota homes for sale. This Columbus, Ohio-based homebuilder held the grand opening of Rivo Lakes in September during which it opened tour for its new, professionally decorated model home, the Reflection.

This residence is a two-story design with a floor area of 3,861 square feet good for four to five bedrooms and three to four full baths. Its exterior could be tweaked based on the buyer’s preference and choose from amongst M/I Homes’ distinct elevation options for this design.

Varying Layouts, Price Ranges

Reflection comes with a two-car garage featuring an optional drop zone. There’s an adjacent one-car garage space as well which could be converted to a home gym or equipment storage. M/I Homes has set the high $500s as the starting price for this home design.

Another move-in ready model set at Rivo Lakes is M/I Homes Jubilee plan with a floor area of 3,485 square feet designed for three to five bedrooms and three to four full baths. Also priced starting from the high $500s, this home model has a three-car garage, too, and brims with customization possibilities.

All told, M/I is offering eight designs on its Rivo Lakes homes for sale, all styled in the Tuscan-inspired theme of the community. The smaller home choices, the Candor and the Holiday plans, are priced in the upper $400s. These designs feature floor areas of between 2,291 and 3,205 square feet featuring three to four bedrooms.

A Conservation Community

Rivo Lakes is a landmark development in the Sarasota real estate market. M/I Homes claims it is the first residential development which has been designated a conservation subdivision under Sarasota’s 2050 growth management plan.

The guidelines of this county road map, which foster growth while preserving and improving communities, have been meticulously applied in the 67-acre site of Rivo Lakes. Located east of Ibis Street, less than a mile south of Clark Road, this parcel was platted for 107 single family homes on 80-foot lots.

M/I Homes masterfully set Rivo Lakes as a gated enclave with a central lake and two smaller lagoons. Wide conservation areas with walking paths buffer the community’s perimeter, and open community space has been set aside within the property.

Echoes of Sylvan Lea

In another development, M/I Homes has also been building up its inventory at the Woods of Sylvan Lea on Porter Road east of Interstate 75 about 3 miles north of Clark Road. This builder has several move-in ready homes in this new community, which are priced in the $400s‒$500s range. These residences feature floor plans ranging from 2,180 square feet to 2,581 square feet designed with three to four bedrooms.

The new builds at Sylvan Lea are being absorbed rather quickly, with six sales notched so far this year. As per records posted in the MLS of Sarasota homes for sale, one of these M/I build was sold after just two weeks of its listing on the market—a feat that the builder surely wants replicated at its new community of Rivo Lakes.
