Ancient Oaks is a community established in Parrish to fill a growing demand for alternative choices on Bradenton homes for sale. Several builders were involved in its development, including Inland Homes and Eslinger Homes, who saw the opportunities in better land values in Parrish and its growing reputation as a bedroom community for Tampa and St. Petersburg.

The acreage of Ancient Oaks spreads amidst mature Florida forests off Erie Road as this corridor doglegs right towards east to re-cross U.S. 301. Notably, this community has two separate entrances and exits along this road pivotal to many other housing developments in its locality east of Interstate 75.

One of these communities, Harrison Ranch, is just across east of Ancient Oaks. An older neighborhood, Thousand Oaks, lies west of Ancient Oaks across Erie Toad.

Moreover, Ancient Oaks sprawling acreage was platted with just 245 lots ranging in size from 12,000 to 24,000 square feet, which are typically larger than most home sites west of Interstate 75.

The potential for value appreciation of Ancient Oaks’ residential properties appears quite promising, given that their Parrish area is on the brink of growth which could radically transform north Manatee as new economic center in the region.

Nearby in Ellenton, the first building of the 2 million-square-foot Florida International Trade Port of Benderson Development is expected to be completed this year. This 132-acre facility is located on the northwest quadrant of U.S. 301 and Interstate 75 opposite the Ellenton Premium Outlets.

Closer even to Ancient Oaks, Benderson is developing a 300,000-square-foot shopping center with sit-down restaurants at U.S. 301 and Erie Road. Located a short distance south from Ancient Oaks, this project is anchored on a Walmart expected to open in 2018. A Publix and other retailers are already operating across this area that looms as a magnet for prospective home buyers.

The Fort Hamer Bridge which opened in 2017 is another primer to market interest on Parrish homes for sale, and more game-changers are forthcoming. These market catalysts include the scheduled opening of the North River High School in 2019 and the planned new campus of the State College of Florida, both of which are set on the Erie Road stretch of Ancient Oaks.
