Babcock Ranch Development Tempo Revs Up Further

SARASOTA, FLORIDA, November 8, 2018 – Momentum continues to build for the development of the master-planned community of Babcock Ranch. Sales recently broke the 200-home mark and a new plan was announced for a golf and country club along with more residences in its acreage south of Sarasota and east of Charlotte Harbor.

The developers of Babcock Ranch, Palm Beach Gardens-based Kitson & Partners, has reported that 215 new home contracts in this project have been sealed as of the end-September. Marketing of Babcock Ranch homes for sale began in earnest sometime in April 2017, and over 30 model homes and quick-delivery builds are either now open or under construction in the 17,000-acre development.

Lennar Community on the Tees

More choices are coming, when one of the builders in Babcock Ranch, Lennar, announced its plan early this October to set up a new golf community in the master-planned development. To be called Babcock National, it will rise in the northeast side of the Founders Square, Babcock Ranch’s town center. Sales launch in this Lennar community is expected to start during the 2019 first quarter.

Lennar will offer more than 18 home design choices at Babcock National. These will consist of multi-family and single-family homes including veranda condominiums, terrace condominiums, executive homes, luxury coach homes, and estate-style designs.

The blueprint for these floor plans feature quartz countertops, designer-style cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and Wi-Fi CERTIFIED™ home designs. Their pricing starts in the $200s which delivers Lennar’s signature Everything’s Included® package giving customers a high level of standard features.

The amenities lined up at Babcock National include an 18-hole golf course, a fitness center with sauna, a resort-style swimming pool with waterfall, a tennis center, and a community clubhouse with a country coastal design. Prior to this new community, Lennar launched the Trail’s Edge neighborhood in Babcock Ranch, featuring villas, executive homes, and manor homes with one- and two-story options.

Solara Townhomes Debut

Meanwhile, Solara Homes of Naples-based Banroc Corp. began accepting contracts this October for its new townhomes in Babcock Ranch. This marketing pitch constitutes the first phase of the 25 contemporary-style townhouses that Solara has set in the Lake Timber neighborhood of the master development. The townhomes’ site directly fronts Lake Babcock and across from Founder’s Square and its Table & Tap Restaurant.

Solara comes as the latest addition to the builder lineup of Babcock Ranch. Aside from Lennar, the other builders which have already set up stakes in this master development include Homes by Towne, Florida Lifestyle Homes, Fox Premier Builders, Pulte Homes, and Stock Classic Homes.

Parkside is another neighborhood which has already broken ground with some home models constructed by its designated builder, Pulte Homes. This national builder offers 12 home designs in this community with three currently move-in ready.

Pulte’s Parkside home offerings feature floor plans of between 1,600 and 3,300 square feet designed with two up to five bedrooms and priced in the $200s‒$300s range. The site of these Babcock Ranch homes for sale, as their neighborhood’s name implies, are adjacent to the master development’s community park.
