Esplanade Debuts at Artisan Lakes


 

SARASOTA, FLORIDA, November 7th, 2013 – Choices from among homes for sale in Manatee county stand to be enriched further with Scottsdale, AZ-based homebuilder Taylor Morrison set to build a community under its prolific Esplanade brand in Artisan Lakes, Palmetto. This new development is located in a pristine 800-acre site close to Interstate 75 and US 41 in northern Manatee.

Encouraged by the resurgence of the home market in Southwest Florida, the company earlier initiated building projects in Lakewood Ranch and Siesta Key under the Esplanade banner. Two other Esplanade communities have also been established in Naples.

Neighborhood builds upon a natural setting

Taylor Morrison envisions Esplanade at Artisan Lakes as a mix of active resort-style living and maintenance-free homes. The community’s first phase calls for the construction of a 6,000-square-foot amenity center with a lagoon-type swimming pool, a fire pit, tot lot, and dog park.

A wetland boardwalk is also proposed to enable the community’s residents to enjoy the local natural environment while at the same time protecting and preserving this feature. The new neighborhood will have winding streets with mature trees. Small lakes and open spaces offering premium views will enhance the overall refreshing ambience envisioned for Esplanade at Artisan Lakes.

Mix of home choices

For this neighborhood, Taylor Morrison will offer options on single family homes and multi-family residences suited to varying lifestyles. Quality construction trademark to the company which was named 2013 Builder of the Year will be incorporated to the residences. Among these features are paver driveways, tile roofs, and well-crafted home appointments.

The development of Esplanade at Artisan Lakes will proceed in carefully planned phases. When the community is fully built, it will offer the amenities characteristic of other Esplanade neighborhoods such as a full-time Lifestyle Director who will manage the recreational activities of the residents.

Other planned community facilities include multiple sports courts and pools, a wellness center, an events lawn and outdoor performance stage.  Likewise on the drawing boards is a larger, second amenity center with fitness facilities, entertainment media equipment, theater, social hall, and library.

New listings around Artisan Lakes

Notably, many existing homes are currently available near this new Taylor Morrison development. One new listing, located adjacent to the Imperial Lakewoods Golf Club just a short distance southeast of the project, has a tag price in the low $300s.  This residence was built in 1978 and three bedrooms and three baths in its floor area of 2,200-plus square feet. Southwest of Artisan Lakes, the North Oaks Estates subdivision has an active listing priced near the mid-$100s for a three-bedroom home. Built in 2005, it has a floor space of close to 1,300 square feet.

The nearby Sheffield Glenn subdivision also has two newly listed brand new, builder-owned residences which have asking prices in the low $200s. Both have full builder warranties. One has a floor area of nearly 2,000 square feet and is designed with three bedrooms and two baths. The other has a floor plan of 2,400-plus square feet with four bedrooms and two baths.
