London Bay Homes, one of the community’s original builders, disclosed in September that it sold, in less than 30 days, two of its popular model homes in Founders Club at a total of close to $3.7 million. What’s even more remarkable, these quick London Bay Homes’ sales further underscore the vibrant mood of the luxury Sarasota real estate market. In August, the median days to contract for residences priced at $1 million and over stood at 136 days, an 18.1 percent drop from last year.
The available stock as of August in the high-end home segment in Sarasota is notably low at 376 residences, down 6.5 percent compared to last year. London Bay Homes, which owns most of the 262 lots in the Founders Club, is poised to fill this dearth in inventory and has announced it is introducing in the golf community 11 one- and two-story floor plans with open layouts and choices of three or four bedrooms plus study rooms and three-car garages.
One of these new home designs is London Bay’s Pembrook. Located on a half-acre lot, it features 3,560 square feet of floor space with three bedrooms and four baths plus a three-car garage. This residence, which overlooks a lake and the Founders Club’s verdant golf course, is currently listed at $1.99 million amongst Sarasota homes for sale.
London Bay’s other new offerings in the Founders Club are priced starting from the $700s. Besides million-dollar priced residences, this community likewise has available existing homes priced in the $800s and the $900s, featuring floor areas of between 3,700 and 4,400 square feet.
Additionally, prospective buyers of Sarasota homes for sale can soon choose from the designs of the four newly named preferred builders in the Founders Club.
