There are several recent developments in Lakewood Ranch that contributed in making last year’s Tour a strong crowd-drawer. One is under the prolific Esplanade banner of national homebuilderTaylor Morrison which as an active lifestyle community also incorporates a golf and country club. Likewise completing their successful debut in the Tour were Windy Hill and the Haddington, the two newest neighborhoods of Country Club East. Another new attraction was the Bridgewater of Lennar Corporation, the newest community in Lakewood Ranch.

At Haddington, Taylor Morrison showcased its 2,802-square-foot Francesco model with 3 bedrooms and 3+ baths and offered at $417,900.This homebuilder also presented models priced from the $200s and the $300s—Roma, Lazio, and Castello. Notably, Taylor Morrison is also scheduled to complete at Esplanade three new models from its Novelli and La Palma collections, all priced in the $400s.

Latest from Lennar

The Tour also brought focus to some home options from Lennar around these price levels. Designed with four to six bedrooms, these choices consist of the Stanford, Oxford, and Cambridge Grande having floor areas ranging from about 2,500 to 3,800 square feet.

The Lakewood Ranch home show likewise gave further market exposure to Lennar’s Bridgewater where the homebuilder offers its Manor homes in single and two-story designs ranging in size from 2,245 square feet and priced starting at slightly under the $300s. Above this price point, estate homes in Lennar’s portfolio are also set for construction at Bridgewater. The newest among Lakewood Ranch communities, the 172-acre this village is programmed for 280 homes.

Bets from other builders

Other mid-priced home models and new offerings toward the high end range in Haddington were also among the Tour’s main draws this year. John Cannon Homes flaunted its Baylin model, a two-story home priced at the high $700s designed with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths.

Then, there’s the Cambira of Homes by Towne priced a shade under the $500s for its floor plan of 2,830 square feet featuring 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. Around the mid-$500s, Lee Wetherington had its Solivita bet with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths within its floor area of 3,315 square feet.

Rounding out the Tour’s showcase were the luxury models, many of which were at Lakewood Ranch’s The Vineyards neighborhood. These prime builds having tag prices around the $1 million mark came from the drawing boards of Tod Johnston, John Cannon, and Arthur Rutenberg.
