Margaritaville: A New Excitement at Harbour Isle

SARASOTA, FLORIDA, July 4th, 2017 – Market interest on the Harbour Isle community in Harbour Isle on Anna Maria Sound could pick up some more after selling 24 residences during the last 12 months. A welcome news to prospective buyers of Bradenton homes for sale, it was the announced this June that a Margaritaville-style community will be developed in this 220-acre waterfront property off Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton.

For this project, Minto Communities is teaming up with Margaritaville Holdings, a Palm Beach-based company operating the life and leisure ventures of singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffet. His company is named after Buffet’s signature 1977 hit song “Margaritaville” celebrating a laid-back tropical lifestyle.

In March this year, the first Margaritaville-style community broke ground in Daytona Beach, and market inquiries for it, Minto Communities said, was “beyond our wildest expectations.”

A Community for All Ages

Margaritaville: A New Excitement at Harbour Isle

Folks who registered for more info about the planned Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach community numbered 70,000 as of May, according to Bill Bullock, the Minto senior vice president on top of the project.  This project set for a total of 6,900 homes and a follow-through venture at Hilton Head are planned for residents age 55 and older.

The Harbour Isle Margaretville homes though will be for all ages. Totaling 139 luxury residences, these will be built at Harbour Isle’s Marina Walk neighborhood, and their area will be known as “One Particular Harbour.”

The floor plans of these residences will range from 1,483 to 1,650 square feet under air. Two- and three-bedroom model options with two or three bathrooms will be offered. Their pricing will start from the high $400s, which appears a soft spot for buyers with an eye for waterfront Bradenton homes for sale. Current listings of Bradenton homes for sale include residences at Harbour Isle priced starting from the $400s up to the $900s.

Public Marina Rising

Also on the marina’s drawing boards are a ships store and commercial space of up to 30,000 square feet for shops, restaurants and entertainment. The marina’s construction has already started, with expected completion in spring 2018.

Besides walkable access to the marina’s boating, dining, and entertainment, One Particular Harbour residents will likewise other amenities at Harbour Isle. These include the 23,000-square-foot Beach Club which provides magnificent views of the Anna Maria Sound and the Intracoastal Waterway.

This spacious club also offers a 4,200- square-foot fitness center and the Sky Bar Lounge on the club’s second-floor featuring a billiards area and balcony for outdoor dining. Other club facilities include, a covered Cabana Bar, resort-style swimming pool, Jacuzzi, private lounging cabanas, event lawn and yoga lawn. Beach recreation extends to the nearby waters via a kayak/paddleboard launch.

Notably, Harbour Isle is a consistent winner in the annual Manatee-Sarasota Parade of Homes. For six consecutive years, it has garnered major awards including “Best Amenities” and “Best Overall Community.”
