New Builds on Parade at Trevesta, Willow Walk

SARASOTA, FLORIDA, March 28th, 2017 – Prospective home buyers who missed out on affordable choices at Palmetto in North Manatee now has another chance at two nearby new communities—Trevesta and Willow Walk— where several affordably priced spec builds were recently put on the market.

Trevesta, the larger of these two, is a master-planned community being developed by Kolter Land Partners, an affiliate of the West Palm Beach-based Kolter Group which broke ground on this project last year. It is located on approximately 450 acres of former farmlands just east of Interstate 75 and south of 69th Avenue East.

Family-oriented Theme

New Builds on Parade at Trevesta, Willow Walk

This development is approved for about 800 single family homes and 300 multifamily residential units as well as 100,000 square feet of retail space. Much of Trevesta’s acreage is set aside for nature preserves, lakes, recreational areas, and open space.

Family life is the central theme to the development of this community. Its name combines tre, three for man, woman, and child, and Vesta, goddess of hearth, home, and family in Roman mythology.

The amenities set at Trevesta are in synch with its family-oriented theme. The common facilities of the community include a clubhouse, multi-purpose room, 24-hour fitness center, resort-style “beach” entry pool, splash park, and playground. Aside from this recreational hub, future Trevesta residents will also have access to expansive landscaped grounds with cabanas, lakeside trail, and open space.

Fourteen homes under construction by D.R. Horton, one of the three builders at Trevesta, have been sales-listed recently at prices ranging from the $200s up to the $400s. This homebuilder is offering in this community 12 single-family home designs with floor areas of between 1,884 and 4,275 square feet featuring three to five bedrooms.

Brisk Pre-construction Sales

Less than two miles south of Trevesta, the Express Homes unit of D.R. Horton is also constructing several spec homes at the new community of Willow Walk. These residences were sales-listed just this March at price quotes starting from the low $200s. Their floor areas range from 1,672 square feet to about 2,600 square feet designed with three to five bedrooms.

Likewise in Willow Walk, Maronda Homes has builds nearing completion and which too are sales-listed in the $200s. These pre-construction listings feature floor plans from 1,400 to 2,200 square feet, all with three bedrooms.

Many of the home-sites in this community are platted on conservation and water lots. Like Trevesta, development of Willow Walk started in 2016 with plenty of amenities set for it, including a large swimming pool, pavilion, and playgrounds. Since its market launch last year, about 40 homes have already been sold in this property.

Some Resale Choices

Affordable options on some older Palmetto neighborhoods are likewise available near Willow Walk and Trevesta. Just across north of the latter, Crystal Lakes has current sales listings for homes priced at the low $200s. These were constructed around the mid-2000s with floor areas of 1,450‒1,720 square feet featuring three bedrooms.

A deed-restricted community, Crystal Lakes is a quiet and close-knit neighborhood with no CDD fees. It sits just west of Buffalo Creek Park and a namesake golf course that both also provide added sales impetus to the new home builds at Trevesta and Willow Walk.
