SARASOTA, FLORIDA, June 21, 2019 – Two new residential communities in Parrish have been launched on the market recently. This pair of neighborhoods echoed the surge of new property developments in the North River area of Manatee County. Significantly, too, these new offerings of Parrish real estate for sale signaled the entry of yet another major builder in the region—the Reston, Virginia-based Ryan Homes.
Demonstrating its confidence in the region’s prospects, early this year Ryan Homes held separate grand openings for its communities The Retreat and Summerwoods, both in Parrish. This national builder already has a strong presence in other Florida markets and is likewise set to introduce its new builds this year in Davenport, St. Lucie, Winter Garden and Odessa.
Ryan Homes, with over 70 years of homebuilding experience, is introducing seven of its home models in The Retreat. This community is platted with oversized lots either next to ponds or conservation areas to provide scenic views to the residences.
Ryan Homes pegged pricing at The Retreat starting from around the mid-$200s. Home model options feature floor areas measuring between 1,500 and 2,800 square feet designed with three to four bedrooms.
The Retreat is set with several amenities. These include a community swimming pool, cabanas, walking trails and a dog Park.
The Retreat’s acreage is located north of U.S. 301 and south of Erie Road, one of the epicenters of growth in Parrish real estate development following the economic recovery after the Great Recession. This community is wedged directly east of Harrison Ranch, already a well-established destination of buyers in search of Parrish homes for sale.
About a mile and a half north of The Retreat, Ryan Homes is likewise now marketing its home builds at Summerwood. This new community is located just off south of Moccasin Wallow Road and directly adjacent north of the Copperstone neighborhood.
Ryan Homes’ set choices on nine different floor plans for buyers of homes for sale in Summerwoods. Its market launch of this community was so successful that 26 homes were sold during its first 45 days.
The Ryan Homes models in Summerwoods are single-family Key West-inspired renditions priced starting from the low $200s. These designs come in options of one- or two-story floor plans, all of which are customizable to suit the buyers’ tastes and preferences.
Aside from Ryan Homes, another builder—M/I Homes—has a stake too in Summerwoods. M/I is making available in this community five designs from its Smart Home series, likewise with options in one- or two-story builds. These models feature floor plans ranging from 1,530 to 2,572 square feet designed with three to four bedrooms.
Set as a gated community, Summerwoods has most of its home sites platted with private backyards, with select lots backing up to ponds or conservation areas. The future residents of this community will have access to an amenity center with a resort-style swimming pool and cabanas. Likewise on Summerwoods’ drawing boards are a playground, nature trails and a multi-purpose field.
