Palma Sola Bay Club on Track Anew

With six sales closed in the first three months of 2015 despite yet another project delay early in the year, the upscale condominium Palma Sola Bay Club appears en route to a strong showing in the Bradenton real estate market. Full development of this 33-acre property in West Bradenton has been cleared following the Manatee County Commission approval in May 2015 of an updated community blueprint. Local environmentalists earlier opposed the plan for alleged illegal mangrove cutting, but this complaint was resolved eventually.

In 2004, county authorities okayed 201 condo units for Palma Sola Bay Club but the project was overtaken by the Great Recession before it was fully implemented. The approved new plan now allows 207 condos housed in 23 buildings, designed Key West style. Except for two, most of these buildings are planned for four stories with nine condo units each, an elevator and covered first floor parking. The two buildings nearest to the picturesque Palma Sola Bay have been approved for three stories also with covered ground floor garages.

Lovely condo features

Palma Sola Bay Club on Track Anew

The Palma Sola Bay Club condos feature floor plans of 1,657 square feet for two-bedroom units and 1,857 square feet for the three-bedroom models. The four units in this property listed among Bradenton condos for sale as of mid-May are priced at the $300s and the $400s.

More condos in this property can be expected to become available in the Bradenton real estate market. Palma Sola Bay Club’s new developer, Prospect Bradenton Investments LLC which took over in 2013, has completed thus far just two out of the approved 23 buildings. One building is already occupied and three others are currently under construction. Of the new units being constructed as of January 2015, 15 have been either already sold or are under contract, translating to a total value of almost $6 million in sales.

The superb features of Palma Sola Bay Club account for this apparent strong reception among buyers of Bradenton condos for sale. This condominium is being meticulously developed as a gated, maintenance-free community. It has a picture-perfect bay-front location with a lake and fountain as an endearing landscaping accent. Its common facilities include a clubhouse where the amenities consist of a swimming pool, a billiard room, and a fitness center. There’s also a joggers’ path plus a newly approved facility.

Pleasant neighborhood

The county commissioners have also given the green light for the construction of a 500-square-foot observation deck. This structure, accessible to people with disabilities, will be constructed across Palma Sola Bay Blvd, with a pedestrian crosswalk at the back of the development. This crosswalk will enable safe and convenient access to the deck in a deeded conservation area along the bay which is suited not only for sightseeing but also fishing.

The Palma Sola Bay Club’s immediate neighborhood consists of single-family homes, like those at the new development of Palma Vista which adjacent south of the condominium. Also just east of the property are the condos at Lakes Club. Another next-door neighbor is the Inspiration Academy which takes pride in its academic innovation, elite sports training and spiritual development, surely a source of delight for parents in search of Bradenton homes for sale.
