Palmer Ranch Expansion Continues Its Roll


 

SARASOTA, FLORIDA, May 18th, 2016 – New homebuilding projects planned for the Palmer Ranch area continue to pour out of the pipeline.

One of these latest developments is the Legacy Estates of national homebuilder Taylor Morrison which has two other current projects in Palmer Ranch—Cobblestone and Arbor Lakes. This new community will rise in a site of over 100 acres off Honore Avenue south of the existing Silver Oak neighborhood.

Legacy Estates is planned for 147 single-family homes with floor areas of between 2,800 and 4,800 square feet. A selection of Taylor Morrison’s most popular home models will be offered in this community. Their features include open floor plans and great room concepts enriched with designer touches throughout including flexible options for dens, game or media rooms, additional guest suites and outdoor living areas.

Set as a gated enclave south of Clark Road and two miles west of Interstate75, the community will be developed with exquisite landscaping that flaunts lush oak trees, nature preserves, and pristine lakes. It will also have its own dog park, and future residents will have direct access to the 10-mile Legacy Trail adjacent to the property.

Sprawling Estate Homes

North towards Fruitville Road, 67 estate-sized home lots of three to four acres are under development at Indian Lakes located east of Interstate 75. One of the preferred builders in this community, Lee Wetherington Homes, was scheduled to break ground this spring on a model home with 3,200 square feet of floor space in time for this property’s entry amongst Sarasota homes for sale in fall 2016.

John Cannon Homes and Legacy Builders are the other authorized builders in Indian Lakes which will rise as a gated and deed-restricted community amidst a natural setting and wide open spaces. Legacy Builders’ introductory pricing for home and lot packages here starts in the high $500s. A Touch of French Country Living

Also on Honore Avenue between Ashton and Proctor Roads, the gated community of Provence is likewise slated to open sales in July 2016. Neal Signature Homes is completing construction of four home models in this property which will have just 18 maintenance-included luxury homes, each with its own private pool. There are four home model choices here, and these come in floor plans ranging from about 2,200 square feet up to nearly 2,400 square feet, all distinctive in their sophisticated French country architectural design.

On the southern stretch of Honore Avenue east of Hamptons on Palmer Ranch, a yet unnamed development is also in the works. Neal Communities has filed a pre-application with the Sarasota County to develop up to 50 detached, single-family homes in a 17.8-acre site at the corner of Honore and Jem Lane. Currently, this property is occupied by just five homes which were built between 1941 and 1972.

This project pushing through should be a welcome development for prospective buyers of Sarasota homes for sale in the Palmer Ranch area. At the Hamptons just opposite the Neal Communities’ proposed project, there are currently only three available residences. These Sarasota homes for sale are priced in the $300s‒$400s range, designed with three to four bedrooms within floor plans of 1,840 and 2,100 square feet.
