Inside and outside of the enclave, Pinestone residents can be assured of a wonderful time in Sarasota. Aside from the usual golf and tennis clubs, a number of recreational pursuits are available at the nearby beaches and camping grounds.

The bay and the gulf are ripe with aquatic adventures for all ages. Go kayaking through the keys or fish for some Tarpon and Snook. Living within such naturally preserved surroundings would not be complete without getting intimate with nature’s elusive creatures. Get up close and personal with the manatees, osprey, and herons—all of whom the major Florida places were distinctly named after—without actually disturbing their natural habitat. Such an experience can be overwhelming. But probably nothing comes close to the breathtaking beauty of a Sarasota sunset while on a cruise.
