Sabal Trace Homes for Sale – North Port, Florida 34287

Sabal Trace is a community in the south Sarasota city of North Port. Homes for sale in this community were built developed alongside the Sabal Trace Golf and Country Club that was closed in May 2015. A Tampa-based company is set to redevelop the country club and its golf course of about 200 acres primarily as a new housing project starting 2019.

Prospective buyers of pre-owned homes for sale in Sabal Trace have options of single family homes and multifamily condos consisting of villas and condos. These residences are clustered in three distinct neighborhoods: the flagship Sabal Trace comprised of single family homes; the Colony at Sabal Trace consisting of townhouses; and the Villas of Sabal Trace.

Prime Choices

Sabal Trace’s single family homes are in a gated enclave on the northeast corner of North Port Boulevard and Greenwood Avenue. These prime choices are only about a quarter mile north of the Tamiami Trail which is vital to values of North Port and Sarasota homes for sale.

Their exquisite setting amidst serene lakes and lush landscaping further help drive market interest in these single family builds. Built from around the mid-1990s to early 2000s, Sabal Trace single family homes on the market are typically priced starting from the high $100s up to the $300s. The Colony at Sabal Trace provides its residents with a clubhouse in a stand-alone building. It has two separate air-conditioned spaces hosting a common room, a pool room, kitchen, exercise room, and restrooms. Adjacent southeast of the clubhouse is a community pool with a fenced pool deck.

The condos for sale in the Colony at Sabal Trace are designed with two bedrooms and two baths within living areas of 1,168 square feet. Their typical price quotes are in the $100s range.

Enclave of Villas

The price range levels up to the $200s at the Villas of Sabal Trace. Also a gated neighborhood, it spreads south of Appomattox Drive opposite the Heron Creek Golf & Country Club. Like its sister Sabal Trace neighborhoods, this enclave of villas flaunt refreshing water features and lush greenbelts.

Developed in two phases, the Villas of Sabal Trace features some masterpieces from national homebuilder Lennar. The residences in this neighborhood come in typical layouts of about 1,500 square feet designed with two bedrooms and two baths.

Like the Colony, the Villas of Sabal Trace provides amenities exclusive to its residents. These facilities include a heated community pool and a clubhouse with fitness room and venues for social gatherings. Proximity to the Tamiami Trail provides Sabal Trace residents convenient access south to Port Charlotte, Charlotte Harbor, and Punta Gorda. Stretching west, this highway likewise unlocks the northern gateways to the lifestyle centers of Venice and Sarasota.
