It would be a wise decision to include Amberlea in a search for a permanent home from among the many choices in the Sarasota Florida real estate market. This community enjoys a great location near the southeast junction of McIntosh and Proctor roads. This area is also conveniently accessible to principal road corridors in southeast Sarasota—the Tamiami Trail west of the community, and Interstate 75 east of the neighborhood.

As remarkable, the subdivision was also exquisitely developed with seven interconnecting ponds that complement the verdant landscaping of the community. Amberlea II, the second section, holds the rest of the homes which were constructed during the 1990s. The homes’ floor areas range from 2,350 square feet up to over 3,200 square feet. A four-bedroom residence in the community with a floor plan of about 3,200 square feet can be in the market with a tag price in the high $400s.

Given the strategic location of Amberlea, its residents are conveniently close to venues for life and leisure activities as well as excellent schools like Riverview High, Sarasota Middle School, and Ashton Elementary. For shopping, the choices include a nearby Publix Supermarket, the Beneva Village shops, and the Westfield Sarasota Square Mall. An active outdoor lifestyle can be pursued at such nearby parks as Twin Lakes, Red Bug Slough and Urfer Family Park. Only minutes away from the community too is the barrier island of Siesta Key where the pristine beaches have always been part of the come-ons of many Sarasota real estate properties.
