Indigo Lakewood Ranch

Indigo is a well-planned residential development in Lakewood Ranch, tucked at the northeast corner of White Eagle Boulevard and 44th Avenue West. Its developer, Neal Communities, launched this community in May 2015, and it instantly became one of the leading destinations for searchers of newly built Lakewood Ranch homes for sale.

The market reception on Indigo was so strong that less than a year after its launch, Neal obtained county approval to expand the project to 590 units on 200 acres from its initial plan of about 400 homes within approximately 150 acres. The additional residences are set east of White Eagle Boulevard and north of 44th Avenue extension.

Other community facilities include a lap pool and spa, plus bocce ball and pickle ball courts. Just across the street from Indigo, Schroeder Manatee Ranch and the Manatee County Parks and Recreation Department have also joined hands for a 20-acre park at the northwest corner of 44th Avenue and White Eagle Boulevard.

A commercial hub is likewise set a short distance south of Indigo at the northeast corner of Lorraine Road and State Road 70. Called Lorraines Corner, this new retail center is anchored on a Publix supermarket. Walgreens and Wawa retail outlets, in addition to restaurants, are already operating across this site.
