Spice Bay is small, gated community which offers newly built architectural masterpieces in Siesta Key. Victoria Bay LLC, a Siesta Key company, initiated the development of this community at the height of the real estate boom in 2005. Due to the Great Recession, however, construction of Siesta Key homes for sale in this property only began gaining steam starting from 2010.

Several custom builders have put up stakes in Spice Bay which has just 14 home lots within its eight-acre parcel. This community’s acreage conveniently sits off Midnight Pass Road, with its 450-foot eastern flank backed up to scenic Little Sarasota Bay.

Auspicious Debut

The community’s initial builder, Sarasota’s luxury waterfront home specialist Perrone Construction, set the tone of excellence in Spice Bay homes for sale, with its focus on the West Indies architectural style. Naples-based custom builder London Bay Homes has also established a strong presence at Spice Bay as it again upheld the superiority of this community’s residences during the 2018 Parade of Homes. This luxury home builder’s four-bedroom Mandeville model at Spice Bay emerged tops in its Parade category, contributing a significant share in the 23 awards that London Bay hauled from this event.

Located next to the bay, this residence has a floor area of 5,010 square feet and a tag price of $5.925 million. London Bay has also set another new Spice Bay build, its three-bedroom floor plan Somerset with a floor plan of 5,060 square feet and a price quote of $3.45 million.

Classic Island-style Living

What’s even more, Siesta Key already boasts of popular retail establishments as well as recreational facilities. Many of these are just around the Stickney Point‒Midnight Pass Road intersection, thus enabling a self-contained, island-style living at Spice Bay.
