Summerwoods Homes for Sale – Parrish, Florida 34219

Summerwoods is a residential community in Parrish which broke into the market in the first half of 2019. A development of Neal Land Ventures, this property covers 268 acres. Its site spreads south of Moccasin Wallow Road, a corridor sharing much of the vibrant growth of the Parrish real estate market after the Great Recession.

Developers and homebuilders, as well as prospective buyers of Parrish homes for sale, are drawn to the convenience that Moccasin Wallow Road provides. This corridor is arterial to U.S. 301 to the east and Interstate 75 towards the west. Both are gateways to major urban destinations to the north and south. The residential communities in this North River area of Manatee County already enjoying this advantage include the Copperstone community of Ryland Homes and Esplanade at Artisan Lakes by Taylor Morrison.

Impressive Community Composite

A total of 562 residences has been approved for Summerwoods’ acreage. Typical of most Parrish real estate projects, this property was developed through the creation of its own community development district. USDA financing is notably available on the Parrish homes for sale in Summerwoods.

Set as a gated community, Summerwoods feature home sites platted either backed up to a water feature or a nature preserve. Ownership of a home in Summerwoods residence is bundled with several community facilities. These perks include an amenity center, a swimming pool, playground, multi-purpose field, and walking trails.

Two builders—Ryan Homes and M/I Homes—have stakes in Summerwoods. Based in Reston, Virginia, Ryan Homes fielded nine floor plans in this community, choices which were warmly received on the market. Within the first 45 days of this builder’s launch of these designs, it chalked up 26 sales for a remarkable debut in the Manatee real estate market.

Key West Home Renditions

Ryan Homes’ Summerwoods home models are single-family homes that lure buyers with their Key West-inspired design. These designs come in one- or two-story renditions with floor plans of between 1,500 and 2,800 square feet. Priced starting from the low $200s, these residences are in three- to four-bedroom configurations.

Energy efficiency is one of the main focus in Ryan Homes’ construction. Comfort and savings, as well as better performance, are also amongst the cornerstones of the BuiltSmart approach of this homebuilder. Ryan Homes, with more than 70 years of homebuilding experience, boasts designs which could be customized based on buyer specifications.

Smart Home Entries

M/I Homes, the other builder in Summerwoods, has offered five of its home designs in this community. These renditions have been drawn from M/I’s Smart Home series featuring choices on one- or two-story floor plans. Their floor areas range from 1,530 to 2,572 square feet good for three to four bedrooms. The MLS of Parrish homes for sale quotes asking prices of M/I models (listed under “Summerwood”) at the high $200s.

Like Ryan Homes, M/I flaunts not only function and livability in its builds, but also energy efficiency. M/I takes pride in having the energy efficiency in the homes it builds certified independently. This builder claims that the energy savings its homes could generate are 30 percent better than those constructed under the standard code and even beat target savings under Energy Star®.
