Lake Arrowhead is a condominium complex off South Beneva Road directly adjacent south of the nature park Red Bug Slough Preserve. It is tucked on the northeastern edge of Gulf Gate Estates, one popular destination in searches of suburban Sarasota homes for sale.

The Lakehouse West Retirement Estate on Fox Run Road is across the large lake which spreads on the western side of this community. Nathaniel Place, a gated community of single family homes on Beneva Road, is across east of Lake Arrowhead.

Lake Arrowhead was developed in the early 1980s, with its Beneva Road entrance about half a mile south of Proctor Road standing out along this stretch. The community is also a short drive to Interstate 75 connecting to various points of interest not only in Sarasota but also to those in Lakewood Ranch and Bradenton.

Closer to home in Sarasota, the choices of life and leisure destinations include the world-famous Siesta Key Beach only some 5 miles west of Lake Arrowhead. Downtown Sarasota and its lifestyle attractions are also easily accessible with just a 7-mile drive north of this community.
