The development was originally platted in 1950 and subsequently, it was built out over the next few years. Two additional phases were added to it in 1953 and 1954. The homes were added from the canal that runs through the middle of the community to Tuttle Avenue. The southern boundary is marked by an old railroad track easement delineating the Paver Park property from the Alta Vista neighborhood.

Paver Park Estates’ original target market was the crop of World War II veterans settling down in Florida whose market entry sparked a suburban housing boom in the 1950s.
